One of the most important pre-surgery treatments that a transgender woman or man must undergo prior to their gender affirmation surgery is to complete their electrolysis treatment. Our experience has shown us that this takes approximately 1.5 to 2 years.
If seeking Gender Affirming Surgery be sure to start electrolysis early so that treatments can be completed at least 3 months prior to surgery.
